Does anyone know the course of action when an attorney stops communication with the client?
My son was parked in our driveway when police apparently shot each other, then blamed my son. My son did NOT fired his weapon during the time the police were exchanging gunfire in the driveway. Police later shot and killed my unarmed son without evidence that he ever fired his weapon during the time the police were exchanging gunfire in the driveway. Phil Berg has been representing me as we prove that. I have only had three extremely brief conversations with Phil and one email from his paralegal since October 6, 2008. Phil did not notify me of a court date, and today I received a forwarded letter stating that I failed to appear.
Does anyone know the course of action when an attorney stops communication regarding court dates? Does anyone have any suggestions regarding continuing the suit on my own?
